The origin
Born from an argument.
I grew up in Miami. I went to college in New York. Thank God for that. Two of the best cities in the U.S. for music. I saw a Calling Mochakk event in Miami Music Week 2024 at Factory Town and that changed everything. Since then I have seen more than 100 sets and ranking them through my notes app.
My friends and I from Miami thought letters were a better way to rank sets than a pure number. Anything in the S tier means it was a god tier set. When my friends from New York saw this ranking, it sparked a debate that lasted for 5 hours on the sets we have seen. We all have had our own rankings made out and someone said they wish we could get everyone's opinion who went to the set. The rest is history.

The mission
Clarity and Memories.
One rating is a take. A thousand ratings get us closer to an answer. If enough people are scoring the same night, you finally know how other people, who love the music, feel about the set you just saw and the artist that you went for. If we have this for restaurants, it's about time we have it for sets.
Music is one of my biggest passions. Seeing my favorite DJs and producers live with my closest friends is the best feeling. After years of going to different sets, I have never seen a space where so many people from different backgrounds and life interests are getting along and locking in together through a love of music. I never want to forget that feeling, and that's what Frequency will do.
